Yeah, he would be a good signing for them, but not for us. I know that sounds weird but bare with me.

With the front 3, that will be first choice in all the important games, but htey dont have any wingers if Salah or Mane need a rest/injured.
Shaqiri, will know he is not first choice, so wont kick up a fuss, but in those 5-0 home wins v the likes of brighton they do, he will be able to slot in, and do ok, knowing that in the more important games it will be Mane, Firmino, Salah.
With us, it would be a 38 game season, relying on him to much

That’s exactly bang on, the Christmas period the cluster of fixtures where they may have a CL game coming up and he can drop in.

He’d probably play left wing for us, every week and about half of those you’ll want to see him dragged off, his attitude has always been an issue

I'm not the biggest Siggurdson fan and honestly think he's more of a hindrance to the squad as it is. Nothing suits his strengths. He certainly wouldn't be starting in my attacking 3.

Hel play in the midfield 3 the way cleverly did at watford I reckon . We will see a big athletic no 8 brought in similar to nzonzi
 

I’d steer well clear of Shaqiri, he turns it on for Switzerland but honestly doesn’t care one jot about his club teams. He hardly does any off the ball work which is why I’m surprised Klopp is going for him.
 

Seems like all of our players have one group that detests them at the moment. I think we'd be mad to let go of Sigurdsson, consistently decent player - just forget the fee because we won't get it back and he won't be replaceable for anything less than 25m.

It's not that Shaq isn't good enough, we just don't need him relative to other positions - and I'm pretty sure we'd end up with another Mirallas type - very good on his day. A good squad player for some club with an excellent first team.
