Eriksen played in that position even when Gylfi was there, Mike.

Eriksen played central, Gylfi wide left.

But it’s a completely different system now than it was then, with the back 3. A big help for that is not having to shoehorn Sigurdsson in.

Absolutely. I’m not envious of any of their signings. When you really look at Wilshere and his stats, goals, assist not to mention well documented injury record he is bang average and never worth the 100++ grand they’re paying him, Diop is a kid with bags of potential who may or may not delivery (and it’s fair to say if he does he’ll be pinched by a bigger club), Yarmolenko I’m interested in seeing but apparently he struggled with the pace of the German league and Fabianski is a very VERY average keeper. They aren’t exactly beating teams to these signings either. Again fair play to them though and they’re spending real money, making a real go of it and they’re fans expectations will be sky high but they were last season too when they signed Hernandez, Arnautovic and Hart and thought they’d break into the top 6 and for the most part they were one of the worst teams in the league.
Yarmolenko doesn't have the greatest injury history either, plus he can be a hugely frustrating player as often tends to do his own thing a lot of the time. West Ham are just throwing cash about at the moment but not actually on anyone half decent.

He is that exceptional that Dortmund who practically only ever sell for a profit are taking a loss on him after one season

Obviously he's not good enough for Dortmund or hasn't settled in to that culture.

I still think he's a no-brainer at under £20m in todays market, just on the off chance that he showcases his qualities in England, where I personally think he is suited to play.

Would have been nice to bin Bolasie and take a chance on him is my view but ah well, it's gone, I hope I'm wrong and he fails.

Could you link this up please ?

“It is not true that Yerry has signed for Everton,” Yair Mina explained to Mundo Deportivo, as cited by the Liverpool Echo.

a damning quote, if you read between the lines he is absolutely disgusted that his player is linked with everton, i actually saw the interview and he spat just after saying everton....
