Everton are reportedly mulling over an approach to sign Joao Mario from Inter Milan this summer. The Portugal international spent the second half of the previous campaign on loan with West Ham United, contributing two goals from 13 league appearances.
According to Tuttomercato, the Nerazzurri are open to Mario's sale this summer, should any of his suitors match his £26m valuation.

It is added that the Toffees are among the prime candidates weighing up an offer with new boss Marco Silva aiming to bolster the squad for a top-six challenge next term.

Since the Portuguese's arrival, the focus has been more on offloading unwanted players with Joel Robles, Ramiro Funes Mori and Wayne Rooney heading through the exit door but the next few weeks should witness some inward activity at the club.

The defence has been highlighted as one of the positions to strengthen with the future of Ashley Willians under question whilst the same goes for the midfield where Morgan Schneiderlin has been tipped to make way.
Underwhelming if true, but if Marco can get a tune out of him.....

Everton are very close to signing Milan midfielder Andrea Bertolacci for €6m after his loan spell at Genoa.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, negotiations have stepped up considerably today.
An agreement is imminent for €6m, while the player would sign a five-year contract worth €2m per season plus bonuses.
Much was expected of the 27-year-old when he came up through the Roma academy and hit form during the loan at Genoa, earning a €20m transfer to Milan in the summer of 2015.
Injuries and poor form made for a disappointing experience at San Siro and he returned to Genoa on another loan in 2017-18.
Again, Bertolacci struggled to make any impact, still contributing one goal and one assist in 33 Serie A games last season.

He sounds terrible

Jesus... he has been very average since moving to Milan. The only good thing about him is he's left-footed.

Bit of a weird rumour.

Signing West Ham cast offs, while they sign our previous targets.

Oh how the tide has turned.
