Marco Silva has returned to Watford to try to sign Richarlison for Everton, who have also expressed an interest in Danny Welbeck. Richarlison’s pace and power impressed in the early part of last season under Silva, when he scored five goals and made four assists, and attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

However the 21-year-old struggled after the turn of the year when Silva was sacked and he failed to register an assist or goal. Welbeck is free to leave Arsenal, with the forward having entered the final year of his contract.
