Siggurdson is practically a forward, they should be occupying different areas of the pitch in the same team. Besic is in competition with Schneiderlin Gueye Baningime McCarthy and Davies for 2 slots and tbh I don’t see if everyone is fit and in form 2 players there better than a fit in form Besic.

One of the advantages of Besic above his competitions is that he actually has an eye for a good pass - and if we are using Gylfi as our main creative outlet, we need every bit of passing we can find in our midfield.
