Summer 2018 Transfer Window

..well you called Lozano at the start of the window, I have to agree with others about it being unlikely if we have Richarlison but if we do it would be exciting. Happy if we get Mina, he’s needed.

Richarlison is two footed, Lozano is a right footer playing left side, both could easily play dropped off the striker, Walcott can play both sides and also up top as a striker, given we won't bring in another CF, can see it being a very valid idea to go with that, still think the lack of any noise anywhere over Lozano is interesting especially given who his agent is.

I would love that.

..i’m just thinking about prioritisation and budget. It would be exciting to get Lozano, I just wonder if it’s a couple of windows too early to be so expansive.

Seeing that Richarlison is in Austria with Watford at the moment, I wonder if news of that transfer is misdirection

If we’re trading with Watford then you’d think we’ll go back to them with a bid for Dacoure once we have Richarlson finalised, could see us bringing him in and selling Gueye.

I could see Lozano being effective up top. His movements remind me of Aguero/Tevez/Suarez.

Likewise I could see Richarlison being able to play as a ‘false 9’ flanked by 2 wide attackers - like Firminho plays for Liverpool.

Everton paid £30M. A decent first season in the PL and he was one of the best GKs at the WC. In this climate that is easy a £50M player.
It's really hard to shake the feeling that Pickford is not just seen as some sort of safety fuse/insurance for our dealings. If not this window, maybe the next two windows should we not get rid of enough players or not get enough money from them. He is after all our only really big asset as of now imo.

The only comfort I find in this Richarlison-business is that apparently both the DoF and manager has wanted him here. Money wise it is hard to believe this is happening unless they already are just missing the signatures of the outgoings.
Here's hoping...

Pretty risky strategy that, what happens if he breaks his leg or does his ACL in ?????.

It's the media selling him, not us.

Let's not lose sight of that.

Oh, @davek is selling him too

It's pretty naive of any Evertonian to think Pickford is off the table in terms of a deal this summer.

I think I'm right in saying the overwhelming body of evidence of how this club has operated for decades is backing my view up.

I honestly wouldn't attack the club if they sold Pickford. IMO he's solid and no more than that. His close quarter reactions are poor and I think we can cash in and get just as good for cheaper.
