Summer 2018 Transfer Window

Granted, it is known that I know nothing; however, I spend a lot of the offseason watching matches i’ve recorded through FuboTV from the past season across a few different leagues; as I mostly stick with the EPL during the season.

Here are a few players that spring to mind, that I feel would fit the bill for what our squad needs; that seem reasonable transfers. Obviously the lower the value the greater the project, and less immediate impact. Let me know what you think: (Values from Transfermarkt.com, they seem too low but there they are all the same.)

CM:
- Piotr Zielinski - Napoli (€32M)
- Anderson Talisca - Besiktas/Benfica (€22M)
- Morgan Sanson - Marsielle (€18M)
- Wylan Cyprien - Nice (€10M)
- Oguzhan Ozyakub - Besiktas (€8M)

CB:
- Jonathan Tah - Leverkusen (€30M)
- Matija Nastasic - Schalke (€17M)
- John Brooks - Wolfsburg (€10M)
- Martin Hinteregger - Augsburg (€10M)
- Mario Hermoso - Espanyol (€5M)

Hope we get 2 CB's in, maybe a loan& a permanent. With Funes & Williams gone, we are left with Holgate,Keane + Jags, imagine if we somehow never signed one lol

Look at this point for me the window is a success, we have binned off a load of tosh and sorted our left side out.

Rome wasnt built in a day.

Good work Mr Brands, now bring us a cherry to sit on top.
I wouldn’t say it’s a success until we get a CB in, then I’ll be moderately happy with the business we’ve done. A CB is an essential.

Would love to ship out Bolasie, Jagielka, Martina, Schneiderlin, etc, but I’d say that’s looking very unlikely at this stage.

For me Catcher, Drinkwater is nowt but a journeyman who got very, very lucky in that rather fortunate-that-the-rest-were-bobbin-for-one-season Leicester side that somehow won the Premier League.

For me, he's exactly the type of player we should be avoiding like the plague.

I can't honesty speak about the lad at Stoke other than to say that they stunk the league out last year and he was part of that stink - make of that what you wish ;)

Even though we've not got European competition to offer, we've attracted a player from Barcelona, so Stoke relegation players and Chelsea misfits should in no way be on our agenda... unless the Chelsea misfits are named Hazard, Willian, or Pedro. :D
He only joined them in a January

He is doing it quietly and efficiently Digne and Richarlison came from nowhere really I am confident we have many irons in the fire on this one

I really hope we have a couple of decent defenders lined up and near completion as we are very light now in that position.

Imagine if we sold Lukaku and didn't sign a striker?

Imagine if we sold Oviedo and didn't sign a left back for years ?

Imagineif a club spending 150 million on players signed 4 players to all play in the same position like they forgot.

I'd put money on us not signing a defender now mate

I still think we need 2 CBs and a controlling CM if we want to push upwards this season. Still some good moves in and out though.
