If he wants a squad of 25 but still wants 3-4 through the door, he’ll have to bin off another 10 players minimum, albeit many on loan.

Taking a punt on Browning, Martina, Pennington, Galloway, Mirallas, Vlasic, Connolly, Bolasie, Besic, and Robinson.

That’d take us down to 23, and let’s be honest we’ll do well to get 2 quality players in let alone 3-4. Plenty of the above will be back next season after loan deals though.

Left side sorted, right side with Coleman and Walcott looks strong just centrally we look very weak.
Don’t get it with our midfield individually Gana, Schneiderlin and Sigurdsson looks a good combination one well rated the other two have played well enough in the past to get big club moves all offer something different it’s a real head scratcher.

One is a lazy git , Sig is a hardworking give and go/shots and crosses type, Gana runs around rather aimlessly at times but does break up play. All three lack the ability to pick out a killer pass and the ability to drive forward with the ball. Two of the three lack in terms of physicality. Two of them are defensive. As a midfield it doesn't function.

Would like four in, but at this stage I think it will be no more than two.

Any more probably depends on Lookman going and getting £20 million odd.

Still think we should be looking for a loan or two to boost numbers on top of any other deals.

I think they have done quite well with shifting players, better than I'd hoped and we'll still see another four or five gone next week.
