I don’t see the point of signing him really, Gana does what he does when allowed to play defensive mid, and id argue that he does it better.

We need a ball playing centre mid, who can get up and down the pitch. It’s probably pure garbage anyway.

He’s a different type of player to gana, more Schneiderlin. But he’s a class above gana technically very good on the ball and an excellent passer. Was superb for Portugal at the 2016 Euros.

And he’s much better as a defensive midfielder, might not be the quickest, but reads the game well.

Just seen him go back to his goalkeeper with about a minute to play when your team is a goal down and in peril. Garbage player.

Remember that player Abdullayev who we bought under Moyes and people said he was the Iranian Messi then he didn’t play a minute for us?

If he doesn't make the Nigerian squad for the world cup I can't see how he would get a permit. Shame as I like his pacey directness.

I read he gets his Belgian passport this year, hence why he was loaned immediately back to not have any gaps.

Yeah, if we sell schneiderlin then we only have baningime as our sole DM. All the rest id say are similar to Gana in that their centre mids who are neither attacking nor defensive.

That's why I wouldn't mind snides sticking around as a backup option, but he is our biggest sellable asset right now. But we need a dembele type, like you say, not someone like carvalho.

Gana IS a defensive middy and should play there every match. Beni is a solid backup. Davies is a solid backup box to box guy and emergency #6. We need our Doucoure type though. Siggy can play the 10.
