To be honest I don’t watch as much of the foreign leagues as people pretend to on here.

Champions league is about the height of it for me and the odd highlight show, I might watch an odd match if we are linked with a player.

I don’t understand though. You don’t want us to sign players who will improve us, because they’d see us as a stepping stone?

The best striker we’ve had in my lifetime seen us as a stepping stone.
We had a chance to achieve something with players of his calibre, it’s not his fault half the squad were crap.

I would imagine whatever is happening will happen quickly as if Sam is staying he can crack on straight away and if he is going the replacement will be lined up already.
