Plenty of action this afternoon, here’s the summary of what’s happening. 2 hours and 38 minutes remain.

Leipzig remain hopeful of agreeing a deal with Everton before the window closes on 31 August. Everton value Lookman at €33m, RBL value the player around the €25m mark. Ralf Rangnick: "Anyone who knows me knows that I'm not going to settle for a no soon enough".

However, Ademola Lookman will stay at Everton and not return to RB Leipzig, according to Sky.

Echo’s Phil Kirkbride, Everton were looking for a fee in the region of £6m for Muhamed Besic.

According to Sky Sports’ Keith Downie, they might just have found it.

Middlesbrough are, according to Downie, close to sealing a move for the Bosnian - which will see the Blues make around £2m in profit.

Dowell & Connelly both extend their Goodison contracts and Callum Connelly is set to move to Wigan on season long loan.

Mo Besic is attracting interest from Middlesbrough. Everton have been holding out for £6m but could yet agree to a loan deal with a view to making the switch permanent.

Yannick Bolasie Everton have made it clear they are unwilling to let Bolasie go out on loan. Burnley had offered a loan deal. Middlesbrough also said to be interested.

Nikola Vlasic Expected to leave on loan before the 5pm cut off point

Cuco Martina The out of favour defender is wanted by Championship clubs including Boro. Everton had initially wanted to sell him for £2m

Callum Connolly The Everton Academy graduate has agreed move to Wigan Athletic on loan. Wigan could still finalise the deal after today with the window for EFL loans open until August 31.

Yerry Mina (Barcelona) Everton’s No1 defensive target all summer. The club remain confident a deal can be finalised and a Blues delegation are in Barcelona to complete medical and contracts.

Bernard (free agent) Everton will complete the free transfer signing of the Brazilian play maker today.Bernard underwent the second part of his medical this morning.

Andre Gomes (Barcelona) Everton enquired about Gomes when in talks with Mina. Blues looking to the 25-year-old midfielder on loan.

The Express are saying the medicals for both Mina & Gomez have been concluded. Catalan outlets are suggesting the same.

According to various speculative reports on Twitter Chelsea have identified Martial as a target as Fekir deal hits snag. Nearly all reports suggest Zouma could be part of the deal.

Also worthwhile noting Chelsea apparently preferred loan for the player who is highly rated.

Silva/Brands is going to want to start bringing in his type of player - don't see much point hanging onto Besic and Bolasie if they aren't what he is after.
