Actually a shame we didn't get Rojo because then it could be Mina, Rojo, Holgate and Zouma. Never have to seen Keane or Jags in a footie shirt outside of the park ever again.

Short-term yeah would have been ideal. Could also have punted Baines along with Keane and Jags.

However, in 12months time we will lose Jagielka (if hes not gone before then) and Baines...Zoumas loan will also expire and we will be left with;

Mina + Holgate + Keane in the centre
Digne on the left

So Brands will have the entire season to see if any of the younger lads (Gibson/Feeney/Robinson) can step up next season.

Otherwise we still need to sell Keane and add 2 more defenders.

If we can finish high up the league then we may see a special centre back come in like Upamecano instead of doing £22mil on Rojo now and being stuck with him if he keeps getting injured.

my only concern is that we are a proven striker light. if tosun breaks his leg we are stuck with calvert-lewin, who for all his effort just lacks the goals.

hopefully we will be getting goals from our new brazillian wingers and a few more off gylfi

Liverpool have done ok without a recognized striker.
