I wasn't counting those among the 31 remaining, since it seems they've already been banished to the U23s. If you do count them, and J. Williams who has a squad number, then they'd need to get rid of nine instead of six.

Hard to make any case for those numbered 19 - 21, Galloway, Browning & Pennington. All three been on loan and at their age, need to be playing regular competitive football. It’s unlikely to be at Everton. They must know that even accepting Penningtons recent extension given our deadline day acquisitions.
Either pay up the contracts offered/seek a compromise with them & offer to subsidise wages/offer on a free with a nominal sell on % if to retain a notional value. Will hinder development in u23s if they hang around, nowhere near match day squad for first team, so what next? Time to be realistic....us and them.
