It’ll be a blacker than black Sat /Sun /Mon /fri/tues /weds if Pennington Browning Galloway or Dowell get near our matchday squad

Hmmm Dowell says hello.

Zat you have mentioned players there who will never play a PL game for Everton

Didnt say some would, but thats optimal next summer before ins/outs (incl returning loanees)

Christ we are replacing players who have not even played us yet
If Zouma and Gomes work out there is every possibility we will buy them

And also likely we wont

Keane and Schnederlin are going nowhere
Get used to it

Ashes scattered around bramley moore?

I can see this net spend coming right down in the next few days. As predicted.

I reckon we'll see, conservatively, £30M for the sale of Niasse and Lookman with maybe our money back on Besic this summer rather than a loan to buy. Total: £35M. Bolassie's sale would be next summer after his loan I think.

So by the weekend I'd expect the net spend to be circa £30M-£35M - maybe less.
Playing hard ball on all these clubs looking to loan is my guess. I reckon minimum £30M back in by close of business.

...not long now to see if @davek was absolutely on the ball.

...short-term risk, I suppose. That risk might be worth taking if Holgate’s hamstring was cramp. Jonjo Kenny has played plenty at CB if needed as substitute tomorrow, although I appreciate height is a concern.

I think it would be a horrid decision to let him go personally. I don’t rate him, at all, but he’s better than Browning and Galloway that are the only other fit CB’s. Right now Mina’s return is unknown, Keane is a month+ and Jags is a few weeks out minimum.

Kenny can play there but I’d rather not have only two available CB’s in the entire squad. Just a shame Feeney and Gibson are injured.

..that’s a very fair summary.
