Would cost a bomb mate. Especially if he has a decent world cup. Might be worth putting a bid in beforehand. £40m? May not even get him for that.
You'll have players doing that in the European Super Premiership in about 20 years time mate.
Holgate is good and has potential to only get better, but Duffy is getting regular games at both club and international level
Time to right a wrong and bring him back

Duffy's lack of passing prowess was always over exaggerated
I remember him passing the ball well in the pre-season before going to Blackburn

Our centre backs are the defensive equivalent of aids though. Duffy is a slightly above average centre back. We can do a lot better.
He was gotten rid of because of his pro IRA tweet on paddys night.
Could be varane for all I care let alone some relagation battling cb. That type of thing is not acceptable. He is not coming back and hopefully will be back in the championship where he belongs soon enough.
I think Duffy has continued to improve and he's now entering his prime years
He still loves the Blues as well and would be jazzed to get another crack at a career at Goodison

Personally, I think we look abroad. A big, powerful centre-back whose decent on the ball and can actually move quicker than a snail.
