looks like the average player is going for 70 mil this window (fred, alderweireld, fekir, fabinho etc..)

makes 30 mil for pickford look like a bargain

Exactly.
As ridiculous as it is everyone needs to readjust what all these values mean. Things have quite literally multiplied by 10 since Shearer went for, what, 9mil as a transfer record?!
45mil for Sigurdsson is the equivalent of 4.5mil not all that long ago...
Its all gone Monopoly money.

He can play in a 4-3-3, as the midfield or a 4-2-3-1 with ease.

I doubt theres a formation he couldnt slot into.

Agree totally. The guy lacks pace, but played correctly, with a "proper" manager / coach , he is class. Set piece delivery also great.

Great first touch, great at playing the killer pass in the final 3rd, can score from outside the box as well as anyone. Play him with Tosun, Walcott, and a proper 8 with pace and we will score plenty.

Any reasonable shouts for center half? Have no idea who we could even be looking for....

Don’t want the Manu rejects.

.....here’s the transfer rumour round-up for this Saturday morning;

- The Washington Post report that Wayne Rooney wants to complete his move to DC United.

- The Liverpool Echo goes through the complicated reasons and qualification criteria which means Henry Onyekuru has still not got a work permit to play for Everton.

- The Daily Mirror suggests Everton have joined Liverpool in hunt for highly rated Zorya Luhansk goalkeeper, Andriy Lunin. The 19 year old, 6ft 3in keeper has been earning rave reviews in his native Ukraine.

- SportsMole website say Everton defender, Ramiro Funes-Mori, is in talks to join his brother at Mexican side, Monterrey. The club are said to have tabled a £7.5m bid. La Aficion, the local Monterrey newspaper, suggest the fee is £10m and the Mexican club are nervous about the player overcoming a recent injury.

...and other bumph;

- According to the Liverpool Echo, Everton’s transfer dealings are on hold until Marcel Brands officially joins the club on 1st June.

- SkyBet have reduced the odds on Eddie Howe becoming Everton’s next Manager from 40-1 to 6-1. Howe is their clear 2nd favourite.
