Lookman ain't anywhere near Sessegnon, although he is decent himself and should be around our first team next season.

Imagine Sessegnon... ability to play anywhere down the left. Immense. Alas he'll end up at United or City.

Kenedy can play anywhere down the left too, we could probably get him for 25/30M or if not go for a season long loan.

Hey Mike. Hope you're well.

Just checked, they're playing European football next season and we're not.

Hope this message reaches you soon.

C.

So what? We played it last season, and now we’re not. They were in the Champions League last season, and now they’re not and are selling “ALL” their best players.

They’re a franchise, they’re never going to amount to anything. As soon as Red Bull realise they can never get near Bayern with that tinpot outfit (already happening), they reign in the spending and bob along as a comfortable mid-lower table side that is attractive to absolutely no one.

Perhaps Mike and it remains to be seen.

The Bundesliga is still lucrative to their investment and its in their interests to keep it that way - even whilst supplementing other clubs.

Truth is, they’ll probably go elsewhere, spend little and look to turn a profit but it’s not an implausibility. Can’t just laugh it off. Lad enjoyed himself there, wouldn’t say no to going back.

True but it's not out of the realms of possibility.

They've just got a wedge for that Keita. They'll probably get another for Werner post-World Cup.

They'll have to spend something.

Plus with the backing of a certain energy drink company, who knows what sort of investment maybe coming their way.

What I’m saying is Red Bull will be more than happy to simply keep them afloat as nothing more than a comfortable mid table club, just as they’ve never tried to push Salzburg on from a passable Europa League team to competing in the Champions League. They know it’s pointless due to the fact they play in the Austrian league and can only go so far, with Leipzig it’s useless throwing money at them because they’re still never going to be able to compete with Bayern or even the likes of Dortmund and Leverkusen, and they’ll never get a return on that investment.

As for Lookman, he could go there and set the world alight of course. He could also do that here. However, if he goes there and DOESN’T progress, then he’s off the radar when they’re floating around 13th in an 18 team league in 2 years time, then where’s his next move from there? It is more of a risk for him to move to Leipzig permanently than it is to stay and fight for his place at Everton, where he’ll get chances under the new regime.

This is one of those rare occasions I get to look down on and patronise another club and be fully justified, so I’m going to grab it with both hands. As if a franchise that isn’t even a decade old is going to bully us.
