Him or Lacelles would be be great. We can throw Besic at the deal and hopefully bring the cost down.Ben Gibson was touted around a lot last season, this time we may have a bargaining tool in Mo Besic.
Hope we keep Klaassen. Interested to see how he does under a manager who isn’t Koeman or Allardyce.
With the right balance he’ll do well I reckon.
Sods law hell turn out decent once he's goneBolasie has the ability to make a real impact and relegate the Geordies. That would be excellent.

His only asset was his pace, since his injury his pace has gone.Sods law hell turn out decent once he's gone
I dont think Klassen has the attributes to be a back up or replacement for any ofthe following:Give yer head a wobble lad. No way is he gonna make it in the PL.

#6 Schiederman/Carvalho
#8 Gana/Davies
#10 Sigurdsson/Dowell
so where does he fit? its not out wide. I like the guy and admire his persistence but I cannot see him fitting in.
spot on...and it's why misspend/overspend on players last financial year (to May 31 1918)is so egregious...and financially deleterious. The profit from Lukaku sale (about 65mio relative to amortised book value) has been entirely wasted in the player spending spree. At the end of the day, Everton 'spent' over 60mio more than it earned. Managing the timing of cash payments (ie installments) will reduce that number in cash terms but I still expect Everton's balance sheet to reveal an increase in net debt (however that is sourced) of 50mio. What the balance sheet shows though is asset value at amortised book value, not marked to market realisable value. If it did reflect market value, I suggest the profit from Lukaku would just about offset the loss. But the increased debt assumed (pursuant of the 'wasted' net spend) still needs to be paid (in one way shape or form), and whatever that is, it acts as a major anchor to new spend/investment.It's why I keep harping on about the damage Fatty Koeman and Gormless Walsh have wrought on Everton.I wonder if a player basically sits on the bench and doesn't play whether their net value is impaired to a lower net realisable value? Record contracts are impaired if an artist doesn't sell, why not a player contract if they don't play.
We might well make a profit in your scenario but we would have had an asset on the books not providing any return on the investment..
Football clubs are all about how much cash they can generate. This is the best indicator to me of the sustainable financial future of the club. Net spend becomes very important if the club is not driving cash through operational activities. Otherwise the owner will have to keep dipping into their pockets.. net spend doesn't have to be net transfer - that really isn't important. But net cash flows is everything!
