I think things will happen quite quickly, only we start anyway.

I keep reading that by this time last summer we had signed about 6 players and basically set fire to 250m in fees and wages by now.

Im kinda glad that we seem to be taking our time and doing it properly really.

The TW shuts on august 9th so essentially if we wait until the WC ends we'll have 3-4 weeks to do all our business. Now with how slow we are in signing players/negotiating with BK the clown spearheading it are you really confident in us not lumbering around on deadline day trying not to panic buy before missing out on bringing anyone decent in like we always do?

Some need to wake up its a totally different time frame this summer to the ones that have come before hence why we are one of only around 7 clubs not to have signed a single player when you could argue we are one of the ones needing signings the most.

I’m fairly sure the business is being done now as it happens.

You are aware of how a football transfer works?

It isn’t quite as simple as a phone call & the player rocks up at the training ground next day waving a scarf around.

Some might take as little as a few days but the majority are back & forth affairs involving parasitical agents.

The facts are we must reduce our squad from 38 down to a more manageable 25-28 - it’s difficult. We’ve made a bit of a mess of things & this poor bloke has to sort it out.

He’s probably pulling his plums out despite a picture outside a knicker shop in town.

The bed wetters are already wringing their sheets out ........

Brands stated we need to sell off some players before we start spending, so I think things are still going according to plan. Need to move Rooney, Klaassen, and Sandro if we can. Hopefully, Silva has started to make determinations on other players so we can decide on ins/outs. Players like Williams may be delayed due to injury.
