Summer 2018 Transfer Window

The last time West Ham signed a decent player was when they bought Tevez and Mascherano and they had to cheat to do that.

Stop stressing out about some kid from a crap league that none of you have heard about.
they all assumed they were finishing top four last summer because they signed Javier Hernández and Joe Hart and that worked out really well for them. Even the pundits claimed they had, had a great transfer window. At some point their owners will sell a prized asset to balance the books and they'll all kick off.

I actually meant Wolves ;) (Patricio), but now you mention it West Ham have done decent business too.

Patricio is a good player, and a good signing.

But it's not like he's a player we'd want or need given we've got Pickford.

I understand the principle but the fact is the same as it has been all summer and that we need to focus on shifting players as well as getting them in.

The Mori deal came out of the blue, and it shows we're getting our business done quietly.

@catcherintherye i think RLC makes sense for us and (as you mentioned)Silva has plucked out Chalobah from Chelsea whilst at Watford.

RLC is clearly a step up but what i find intriguing is that if were prioritising an English CM then why didnt we go for Maddison who seems to tick alot of boxes...

I wonder whether weve already got our targets lined up and are just offloading players before we move on anyone...as Brands doesnt seem to be the type to wait on things...

What i would be quite interested in seeing is some moves for the Chelsea young players wh9 seem to be very good such as Hudson-Odoi and Trevoh Chalobah who seems a far better prospect.

If Brands follows his PSV model he will focus on young English players + a sprinkling of South American kids...quite exciting.
I like Xouma at Chelsea
A bit injury prone at the moment but he seems to have it all
