Bit of flouncing like a prima ballerina belongs to the fun as well.

Seriously, if you don't want arguments, then don't allow threads on politics, race or religion. I belong to enough forums where they have strict policies on that and stamp on anyone that even goes near those issues.

But as long as you allow them, you are always going to have arguments or discussions, especially with the wide range of beliefs held by an international membership.

I don't ever take them personally and just because Ghost or Bruce or Danny and I don't agree politically or socially doesn't mean I wouldn't happily go for a drink and to a match with them. But I appreciate that some people find it hard to separate discussions from the personal and that's why a lot of forums which don't cover those issues ban the discussion of them.

Considering what has been said elsewhere that is damn spot on! (y)

Its a forum, its only text, don't things personally!

I have an idea

If posting in a thread that contains some strong views or important points regards anything, before hitting the 'submit reply' button give what you have written a read over and give it a little thought.

threads can meander into chatter, and i havnt met a person yet that doesnt talk bollocks. the difference is that on a forum the words are saved in a thread and individuals not involved in the chatter can not necessarily follow the crux of how the thread has developed.

like i said, give a post a read before submitting it - you never know, you might spot some spelling mistakes too.
