The Beto but didn’t age well
Well...

I didn't want to revisit this too soon, but it's an interesting one. You could potentially argue that we might be better riding on the crest of a wave this summer and selling him now that he's going to have increased his value. He's a likeable fella and he *does* have some attributes (though at the time I wrote that, we'd seen very little of them), and I'd admit that I didn't see this little patch of goalscoring coming from anywhere (I'd be amazed if anyone did), but he's so technically poor and sloppy at times that he looks like he could be related to Niasse. As things stand currently, as much as I'm delighted with the recent uptick in form, I'd still be minded to sell in the summer, but there is now at least some doubt about that and you've got to credit him for that because he was becoming a bit of a running joke.

We need goals and assists from the position occupied by Lindstrom, and he’s managed neither so far. I’d question our ambition if we sign Lindstrom. The likes of Newcastle and Villa wouldn’t be interested in him. He is not top half quality.

I think it's a case of needs must that either he or Harrison signs simply to build up the squad numbers. It'd be very disappointing if either found themselves starting consistently though.

Harvey Barnes ?

Linked to Tottenham player Manor Solomon today, currently on loan at Leeds, 7 goals and 7 assists for them this season from the wing, believed to be available for around £15m

He’s a Left Winger so could replace Harrison in the squad, if he returns to Leeds.

He's a great dribbler, certainly has the flair to get the fans attention, he'll quickly get the names of King Solomon I'd wager

I’d extend Gana and Virginia if they are open to it. I’d make Alcaraz and Lindstrom permanent.

First 11 I’d guess we focus on right back and a holding midfielder. I’d love some pace at RM too. This is assuming Brantwaite stays.

The remainder will be loans and mid to low cost signings for depth and competition in the squad. LB2, CB4, RB2, RM2, ST3.

Even these relatively small moves could cost 100M+

Who are you playing up front? A striker has to be a priority. Beto is on a nice little run and isn't as bad as he first looked but he's still a limited player.

I think on another loan it's not a bad shout as back up RW/CAM if Napoli will do it

we should look to buy a better starter for that position for sure, but as a squad option definitely

with him and Harrison gone, and possibly Ashley Young retiring or released, We'd have no senior right sided forwards
