...the links with Gamboa from the Baggies continue and might have something in them considering RM likes his S American footy. Could be a useful addition, particularly as back up at RB.

Apparently so did weSome freelance football writer is saying we're showing a late interest in Nicolas Lombaerts from Zenit. Personally, for the 10 mil reported fee I would rather we went elsewhere.
Would be very happy with that deal, he is a very attacking RB from what I saw of him at the World Cup. Oviedo appears good friends with him as well which would help him settle...the links with Gamboa from the Baggies continue and might have something in them considering RM likes his S American footy. Di Marzio suggesting that inter are getting close on signing Perisic. Thought he was good playing against us, wonder if we have made enquiries - iirc all our squad seemed to go out of their way to be friendly to him!

In addition to the many negotiations it is working on regarding the midfield, the ' Interalso moves on the offensive department. Continue, in fact, the contacts with the Wolfsburg striker Ivan Perisic: yesterday, we've told , there was a positive meeting with the player's agent born in 1989 and the Nerazzurri maintain a direct line with the club German.
It continues to seek the final agreement, the deal continues with confidence; from Wolfsburg arrive signals opening as far as the conditions proposed by Inter; Also on the figures, the parties could soon find understanding. After 110 appearances and 26 goals in the Bundesliga, the future of Perisic could be in Italy.
According to Di Marzio Inter are looking to do a similar deal for Perisic as they are rumoured to have done for Shaqiri in Jan - an initial loan and then a forced buyback option of 15m Euros next summer. Persisc's agent is quoted in some press as saying personal terms are agreed but Wolfsburg are holding the deal up - presumably because they'd like some cold hard cash rather than an IOU to pay in twelve months!Pity, he was my first choice that I wanted for that left wing position. Just presumed that with Wolfsburg being in the Champions League he would stay there. However, Inter seem to be throwing a lot of cash about and maybe that rules us out (that's if we had interest in the first place)
I still think we'll only start moving for a playmaker once Mirallas decides if he's leaving sadly.
In other news some Chinese first division club have offered Watford £10 million for one of their strikers cmon everton offer them Kone ffs!

Like to think we'd be able to at least compete if those are the figures involved but as you say he might not be on our wishlist.
I miss the report you did last year.Should I bring back percentages?
They're how I found my feet on here really.

I could avoid the serious thread all together.
Me too. He is also only 26 (for those concerned about age), 6ft 2 so would add some height and a decent goals/assist record.Yeh I reckon we should offer them cash up front now! (if we can actually afford to)
I don't know why but he just strikes me as an "Everton type" player.
Could we offer him what Inter could though? Probably not :-(

But no rumours of any links unfortunately.
