...the links with Gamboa from the Baggies continue and might have something in them considering RM likes his S American footy. Could be a useful addition, particularly as back up at RB.

Would be very happy with that deal, he is a very attacking RB from what I saw of him at the World Cup. Oviedo appears good friends with him as well which would help him settle

Pity, he was my first choice that I wanted for that left wing position. Just presumed that with Wolfsburg being in the Champions League he would stay there. However, Inter seem to be throwing a lot of cash about and maybe that rules us out (that's if we had interest in the first place)
 
I still think we'll only start moving for a playmaker once Mirallas decides if he's leaving sadly.

In other news some Chinese first division club have offered Watford £10 million for one of their strikers cmon everton offer them Kone ffs!

According to Di Marzio Inter are looking to do a similar deal for Perisic as they are rumoured to have done for Shaqiri in Jan - an initial loan and then a forced buyback option of 15m Euros next summer. Persisc's agent is quoted in some press as saying personal terms are agreed but Wolfsburg are holding the deal up - presumably because they'd like some cold hard cash rather than an IOU to pay in twelve months!

Like to think we'd be able to at least compete if those are the figures involved but as you say he might not be on our wishlist.

It's not Deeney is it? Pretty sure the rumour was that Watford had slapped a £20m price tag on his head...

Yeh I reckon we should offer them cash up front now! (if we can actually afford to)
I don't know why but he just strikes me as an "Everton type" player.
Could we offer him what Inter could though? Probably not :-(

Me too. He is also only 26 (for those concerned about age), 6ft 2 so would add some height and a decent goals/assist record.

But no rumours of any links unfortunately.

No, I've not seen anything. I've given up hope really.

Thought he was brilliant in the World Cup last year (one of the players of the tournament for me) and he has had a great season for Wolfsburg to prove it wasn't just a fluke.

He's unfollowed now. An 18 year old Brazilian forward, looking at newspaper reports about him he seems to be linked to a lot of top European clubs, the Express reckon he has a buyout of £40m but would cost around £24m and the Mirror were reporting that Barca have an option on him. If any of that is true I doubt there's anything in him following Everton.
