He was Hart bad last season for sure.

If, and it's a big if anyway, he does come, maybe a change of scenery will refresh him back to how he was. He was good before he died.

For a man whose 6 foot 7 (And you can't teach that) he certainly does not stack up in areas where you'd expect him to.

11 goals conceded from corners, 2 from free-kicks and only 66 successful crosses claimed (1 better than Joel). He splits his time with punches and claims though, just the 12 punches.

His distribution leaves a lot to be desired too.

Here's how he stacks up with Joel, Stek, Pickford and Hart: http://www.squawka.com/comparison-m...punches/catches/avg_distribution_length#total

He rufused to sign a new contract at chelsea. He was voted best young player of the season and chelsea fans love him. He's meant to be the real deal for the future.
Shame he's chosen the 'dark side'. It's a pity we aren't in for him. It's our only area of weakness in the under 23 set up and I'm sure he'd get game time in the league cup and EL games.

I can't use last season to say he's any good. As he was turd.

I know Chelsea have an abundance of riches within their youth set up, but if this lad was the 'real deal' there is no way they would allow LFC to take him off them. That's how I'd see it anyway.

"The 19-year-old has agreed terms with the Anfield club after refusing to sign a contract extension at Stamford Bridge amid concern over a lack of first-team opportunities, Solanke’s current deal expires this summer but, as he is younger than 24, Liverpool will have to pay Chelsea a compensation fee to be decided by a tribunal. The fee is expected to be in the region of £2m-£3m."

“Liverpool FC have agreed personal terms with Dominic Solanke to sign the England youth international this summer,” read a statement on the club’s official website. “The 19-year-old striker will complete the transfer to the Reds on July 1, 2017, upon the expiry of his contract with his current club, Chelsea.”

"Solanke has an impressive goalscoring record for Chelsea’s youth teams and represented England up to under-21 level. He is part of Paul Simpson’s squad for the Under-20 World Cup in South Korea and spent the 2015-16 season on loan at Vitesse Arnhem, where he scored seven goals in 25 appearances."

"The striker’s stand-off with Chelsea over a new contract had alerted an array of clubs to his availability and several Premier League teams competed with Liverpool for his signature. Solanke, who will earn less than £20,000 a week at Anfield, also had offers from RB Leipzig in Germany and Celtic, who saw him as a potential replacement for Moussa Dembélé."
