Same summer every summer. We leave it too late while all the best targets get taken. Feels like we can only ever do business once we've sold someone

I'll take lookman, holgate, kenny and davies over the last four. Calvert progressing nicely too. Promising times. Jags n barry have been excellent but agree replacing them,, Rom and Ross will be tough and expensive without CL.

Q; IS IT WRONG TO BE SATISFIED WITH A NEW STUDIUM IF EVERTON ALSO REMAIN IN THE FRINGES OF EUROPE WITH A YOUNG TEAM IN THE NEXT 3-4 SEASONS.

IMO we are now struggling to attract the calibrate a player we aspire due to lack of profile, and no real presence in Europe consistently .... A new stadium as planned with an extended period in Europe with on the pitch success will get us there...we have to develop in phases....its not all about blowing players away with money although in some cases it will be....we have to secure the right fit now and this will change if we stay in Europe , have prem success and put a spade in the ground

Yearh as Spurs have signed loads mate and Chelsea and United and the rs....

- The Express, The Star and The Mirror report that Wayne Rooney is pricing himself out of a move to Everton. Everton are yet to make an approach but the player is unwilling to take a pay cut which indicates all roads lead to China.

- The Mail says Lukaku has told his advisors he wants a move to Chelsea.

- According to a 'source close to the player', Everton, West Ham and 4 other European clubs have made firm offers for Chelsea's Bertrand Traore who has been on loan at Ajax.

- The Daily Mail reports Spurs and Everton are battling it out for Bolton's 16 year old Max Broughton.

- Reports in the Italian press link Everton with a 15m euros move for Sassuolo striker Diego Falconelli who was on loan last season at Crotone.

- 4th Official continues to link Everton with Seria A forward Keith Balde Diao.

- The Croydon Advertiser says Everton is one of 4 clubs interested in Coventry's 18 year old Jordan Ponticelli.

- Toffeeweb suggests Everton interest in Colombian defender Jeison Murillo who plays for Inter Milan.

- Madaboutepl website suggests they are aware of reports linking Everton with Genoa striker Giovanni Simeone, son of Atletico Madrid manager. The player is valued at 20m euros.

- According to Sky Sports, West Brom have launched a bid for Sunderland defender Lamine Kone who was of interest to Everton.

Only City and Arsenal (freebie) have sighed anyone in the Top 6? And none of others have bid for anyone.
