We have a manager who is speaking to the players trying to convince them and a director of football who is not only respected but is able to get sitdowns with clubs and agents fast mate.

and maybe for the first time ever we arent going into negotiations with ridiculously low ball offers but instead are talking to the selling clubs first and making first offers that are close to what they are tempted to sell at.

yeah, the whole player recruitment operation must have been given a massive overhaul. I hope I am as optimistic at the end of the window as I am now - just realised that was a pessimistic thing to say...

I speculated the same mate the other day

Walsh is absolutely front and centre now - the Spain trip to watch Sandro, the meeting with Sandro in the hotel and the Italy delegation.

All 3 things getting out with pics/vids is too coincidental and looks from the outside like we are letting everyone know whose in charge in player negotiations etc now

Leave Kenwright in charge of getting the fees for players we deem we want to sell, he excels at that part

Also the fact Sunderland stated it was our opening bid etc, that just 100% is not Kenwright negotiating
