If LFC is interested I see him preferring them with their big Brazilian contingent. But I don't think we need him. There are better strikers around for the same price.

Watched the video. He doesn't have the magic and god knows what you'd have to do to extract him from Brazil (work permits, ridiculous clauses in his contract, etc.) Not interested.

Sigurdson is a good player, especially effective at set pieces and crosses.If Barkley leaves we need someone like him and a play maker that gets more involved though.

Think someone who's a proven success in the league is a better option than an unproven kid tbh. The prices for dembele seem very tbf, I'd much prefer the proven option.

Sets a bar though. We pay £40mill + £90k a week wages...what's the price gonna be for someone who is actually quality? Sticking that £50mill price on Ross doesn't seem outlandish on the back of that.

Would personally look at Tadic if we're looking at "proven" league players

We wouldn't pay that much for Siggurdson imo, it'd be between 30-35. But he's twice the player of tadic, who I wouldn't say is proven at all. Don't know his stats, but he's been here a few seasons now and done nowt. Is he even a saints regular? A prime example of a creative player who looks brilliant on the sub continent, but finds the prem a lot tougher. Something we know wouldn't be an issue for Siggurdson vs someone from Europe.

Not quite sure why you think we need ANOTHER 2 CMs............

Even IF Barry, Besic and McCarthy all left we wouldn't need two cm's.

We'd still have Schneiderlin, Gueye, Davies, Klassen competing for 3 positions and judging by the inclusion of Walsh on the bench for a fair few games late last seaosn he may very well figure for next season at least in cup/eufa dead rubber games

At Most we need another 1 - someone who can play more than just central mid ideally, hence why Dendoncker and Blind would both be good shouts (but probably not at the prices they'd cost as neither would start for us)

We have WAY more concerns atm in the squad rather than looking to add another centre midfield -christ it's by a mile the best part of the team

He's talented, I just haven't seen him do it consistently whatsoever. Siggy has done it for a few seasons now with goals and assists near double figures. Only Alexis achieved that last season, Siggurdson was one goal off.
