for one, he's out for three months.

secondly, when fit he's a regular in a team that finished second and is in the Champions League.

Not happening Tim.

We've made two fantastic signings so far and are on the verge of a third, with Keane very much in the offing.

It's mid-June.

Patience.

How close is Keane really?

I have no idea Ij.

We're definitely interested - that much is clear - and I think we think (or know) we have a very good chance of getting him.

If/when we do go in with a bid, I think it'll be a case of - like with Pickford - us matching the fee Burnley want and getting the deal done quickly.

Everton remain open to offers for outcast striker Oumar Niasse.

The expected arrival of Sandro Ramirez from Malaga will push Niasse further down the pecking order at Goodison as Ronald Koeman performs a revamp of the Blues’ attack.

Niasse was banished to the under-23s for the first-half of the campaign by the Everton boss who chose not to give the £13.5m signing a squad number.

The Senegal forward was sent out on loan to Hull City in January and scored five goals in 19 appearances but it is understood that he still does not feature in Koeman’s plans. Hull were offered the chance to make his move permanent in a deal said to be worth around £10m but after being relegated to the Championship appear to have passed on the opportunity.

Everton have triggered the £5.2m release clause in Sandro’s contract at Malaga and the 21-year-old has passed a medical.

Which is why I said if we sell Barry McCarthy and besic we'd need to buy one mate, atm we have 7.

So your saying we could make do with 5 an im saying that would be the least we voukd do with. We may even play a diamond formation next season in which case 4 would start the games.

But we wont unless koeman changes the habit of a lifetime mate

we have 4 certain first teamers, we have 3 who are here until they are sold and will feature if kept, and we have walsh who seems to be rated, we honestly dont need two centre mids in any world
