I Agree. Liked him for years but wouldn't want to spend more than 20 million on him really and that's not happening in this day and age.
To be fair mate, forget the position. The way transfers are going it is highly doubtful you are going to any Premiership player, who is an international, at 27 years of age and has shown his pedigree consistently in the Premiership for under 20m. Because he's the finished article and proven, I wouldn't go higher than 30m, but Swansea are reluctant to sell and siguardsson doesn't seem the type to rock the boat and force a move.

...he might miss a few but if United continue to create chances Lukaku will score.

What i will guarantee also though mate is that he will have games when his first touch is like a babies first steps and he looks utterly not arsed, and that is going to be the interesting time, I have never ever seen a player who has reached 24 with that type of attitude who suddenly changed to being someone focused every game

..I went the home game against United with my son and part way through the game he highlighted the contrast between Lukaku and Ibrahimovic. The United man is 35 and not only led the line brilliantly but went to war with our back four (the incident with Coleman wasn't good but it epitomised his winning mentality). Lukaku on the other hand was largely static.

The fella is a top goalscorer but he's not the all around player that the truly great forwards are. Think of CBs coming off the pitch, every time they play Lukaku they should be delighted to hear the final whistle often they won't have broken sweat.

United fans have loved players like berbatov and ibrahimovic who aren't known for lung busting effort, and players like cole and solskjaer who aren't known for finesse. Goals are universal, if he scores a load he'll be forgiven for the odd bad game, same as he is here.
