Summer Transfer Window 2017

Surprised Walcott is still only 28. His injury record is poor but aside from that he'd be a great signing. Very good finisher. That seems to be one of the main things Koeman is after.

Now that it looks like we need another CB maybe that will consider going back in for Kone from Sunderland. I imagine it will be for a cut price fee now

Was there a plan in place for replacing Rom? With the inevitability of him moving, I'm surprised that we didn't have a list of targets that we were confident were suitable and that we could get.
And if we did, in keeping with our other transfers this window, how come nothing's happened yet, (apart from links with a couple of underwhelming players).
Maybe I'm being impatient...I wanted a marquee signing.

Yes you're being impatient. My reading of the situation is that we're waiting for a short while to see if Giroud will be available. If Arsenal decide to hang on to him then we'll move quickly down our list of targets.

There isn't much difference between Lennon and Walcott IMO... all they offer that nobody else has is pace
Strange how we like and dislike people in the game. I have no love or respect for Kendal, yet I love the very bones of the 'Fat Boy'.

didn't the RS go raid some striped premier league battlers and go backwards? pass.. way better options in Europe. We took Sunderlands best and got them to take our worst. Leave it at that

Wish the owners of either of the Milan clubs would have bought us instead of Moshiri. Kenwright would never have allowed it however would have had to have fully given up his trainset.

Just thought i would quote this comment from early June.

Are we all jealous of the work done by the Milan clubs?

Whats that?? No you say!! Oh my.

It's weird how we can watch the same match and have totally different views on a player ... it's what makes it interesting ... Walcott is the better of the two (Lennon) but he reminds me of Jesper grankear (spelling) blistering pace but average at nearly everything else ... and like I mentioned , has had a lot of time injured
