Wouldn't take Sissoko for free - loan or otherwise. Utter no mark that took a wage at the horse punchers and did nothing. Had a decent tournament in the Euros, that is it. This clown turned up for less than two months of decent football in the last god knows how many years.

Couldn't agree more. He didn't just turn us down last time he humiliated Everton football club and the manager. Private jet awaiting to bring him up to Merseyside, then he ignored the phone calls of koeman. Walsh bangs on about having the right character to play for the club, well he showed us last summer the type of character is.

Totally agree, we're linked with half a dozen centre mids (although some may be more like forwards in RonKo's system - I'm still not 100% clear on where Sigurdsson plays if he comes here, left side of a front three?) and no forwards (at least in today's papers/websites). Are we trying to pressurise Swansea or is the Gylfi deal on the rocks?

My guess it that we're throwing out jarg cm links so Swansea worry their not going to get their payday and end up accepting the (still enormous) 40mil for siggy.

Gylfi can play CM or anywhere behind the striker really, so I'd like him to sign. We don't have a player like him. Finding a backup for Snides seems overkill with the likes of Barry, Besic, etc already on the books.
