When you look at that list you do wonder where the goals are going to come from, even with Giroud and Gylfi we still look a bit short. We're betting the farm on Sandro hitting the ground running and Rooney rediscovering his goalscoring form, definitely not a given.

Of the seven we have, only two are definitely Champions League quality - and we've just bought them!!

Thing with Sinclair is we all know he's failed in the prem at 3 different clubs. I know he's done well in the championship and SPL but at Swansea, Villa & City he's struggled with all of them in the prem.

Dembele as never played at premier league level but done well in the SPL and in Europe and he maybe able to hack it in the prem and could be worth the gamble at £20m. Personally I don't think we'll even go there but who knows?!

Tierney is a good shout though, he looks a player. Could be someone for next season to take over from Baines. But he's Celtic through and through and IF Celtic don't have to sell then he won't push to leave so not a given he'll leave for anyone....

I was being sarcastic
If we bid 20 m for Dembele it would be turned down.
Clubs know the PL is awash with money and Dembele would cost north if 30 m
Not worth it for a young unproven talent.

3 4 5 6 8 are midfielders/v. Low scoring wingers . 3 is injured. 9 not signed. That leaves niasse (poor), Rooney (probably can't play a full game), . Sandro, yes is an attacker hopefully will be a good goal scorer .

Lookman, dcl still unproven in prem. Massive risk if we are relying on them to come through this season.

We need one speedy goal scoring winger and one more striker.

Stop being obtuse. You know full well Barkley is going, Niasse will be shipped out, Bolasie is injured, Lennon may be shipped out and possibly DCL or Dowell go on loan.

There are more than 3 attacking positions as well. We may play a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-4-2 sometimes.


Just stop being an arse basically.
