In all honesty, I don't think we have an endless supply of money and we need a striker and centre back a lot more than we need a Sigurdsson. So let's get Barkley and McCarthy sold, and get a top class striker and centre back in, then if there is money left over get some pace in the side and get as good a winger as we can attract.

I'd would be very surprised to see a top quality CB Come in, yes a back up one but not one on the level of Keane. I'd be surprised if Koeman who bought Williams last year gave up on him just yet, I'm sure the CB pairing we saw last night (bar injury) will be the one we see most of the season.

Looks like we might not got Giroud or Dzeko, we are now looking at Max Kruse

15 goals last season, possibly £13m, he's bounced around the bundesleague a bit, 4 clubs since 2012, possibly not the classic " target man" we really need, but can score goals and I think we need more bodies before the window shuts

I'll be gutted if we are waiting on Giroud to decide what he wants, the echo reckon he's only driving his future after the first 1 or 2 games of the season so guarantee we'll go with what we've got and struggle to score a goal until Giroud decides to stay put then we are left scrambling for a striker and end up with another Valencia/Sissoko situation.

I think worry is starting to creep in considering we've only got Rooney up top who's past his best.

All those blues wetting themselves over challenging for the top 4 need to realise we've given one of our rivals a top striker whilst we have been given their 3rd/4th choice one.

Get Benteke/Batshuyai in and I'll be feeling a lot more reassured but right now that should be our main priority not Siggurdsson.

No chance Koeman wants a target man hence whilst he wants Giroud, I'll bet my bottom dollar that Sandro will play wide right in the 'Mane' role and drift In central almost as a front 2.
