It's not the random suggestions that bother me so much. It's having to wade through pages of dumb comments about players who may or may not have been linked with us just to find what the latest transfer stories are. Why can't we use player threads to discuss the merits of players and keep this thread for transfer gossip rumour and nonsense ?

No way would he sign a new contract now with Everton still in negotiations to buy him. If he is still at Swansea at the end of the window, then they might offer him a new contract for showing 'loyalty'.

Iceland will be an Everton player sometime in the next 4 weeks, of that I am certain.
