I agree, but we seem to get the targets and if not we don't get the panic buys in. I'm concerned that we will fail with attempts for Giroud and Benteke would be too much that we may just go with what we have. Hope I am wrong.

Obviously other Target Men out there but not convinced we are looking beyond them two.

What do we think Benteke would cost though....surely 40m.

Would have him here but not sure we have that much to spend (after 45-50 on Gylfi and surely at least 10 on a defender...)

It's not about that, it's about us not being able to put teams away or steal wins without threat and goals. Be arsed what Saints, W Ham or WBA do.

Will they steal wins though to finish above us. We are nailed on for 7th at worst. Need to improve a bit to go higher though

I also think we'll finish 7th, but I think we'll be closer to 8th than 6th.

Until Lukaku/Barkley are replaced we just offer no threat at all.

Wouldn't be surprised if Leicester finished above us - better strikeforce.

I think we will finish closer points wise to Liverpool, arsenal and spurs.
Sigurdsson will replace Rooney.
But I agree we need another striker

They won't. They got 44 points 12th last season. They are not even that good.

8 points behind Man United. 17 points ahead of Leicester. I don't get this.

Agree, if Baines and Keane suffer injuries or suspensions at same time with Coleman already a long term absentee, we are very weak at the back. Not enough back up!

Barkley, Lennon, McCarthy, Besic, Tarashaj, Robles, Niasse, Garbutt, Rodriguez.

Selling these unwanted/back-up players will generate about £70m and will be enough to sign 2 good players and add them to the squad.

He didn't show us much the other night, but I still think we'll get goals from Sandro. Not as many as Rom, but
I think they'll be shared around more. I hope we get Giroud, who'll be a big signing, but if not, we'll just go
with who we've got.

We need more goals. Better squad but the goals haven't been replaced yet. Lukaku not being replaced is the major weak point of the window and if we don't rectify it by 31 August then all our good work is undone.
