God knows what is happening with Siggurdsson and Swansea. A very unsatisfactory situation for all concerned.

The season is so close now that transfers will slow down for a couple of weeks until we have the usual flurry at the very end.

A poster started a thread in July titled "is anyone else worried" and a lot said it's still 6 weeks to go , don't panic.
Fast forward 3 weeks and nothing has changed, my concern is apart from Siggurdsson we don't seem to be getting linked with anyone solid.

We've gone from being 'bang average with a good goal scorer' to 'bang average with a great goalkeeper' - not sure this is the transfer window I was hoping for.

Still 3 weeks left mate. Although I distinctly remember thinking the same thing at this stage 12 months ago.

Not panicking yet but we do need a quality striker, playmaker/winger and left sided defender. Plus still need to weed out some players too. I'll be getting a bit twitchy if we're till in the same boat in 2 weeks time but I have faith in Ronnie putting pressure on the board to get some deal over the line.

We do have a very hard start but, even with a boss squad I'd have been happy with 8 points from the first 5 games. if we end up with 5 or 6 then are we that far behind? Plus, apart from Spurs, the other top clubs also have plenty of new players to bed in so have a similar problem to us.

No he won't, the qualifiers only tie you for the other qualifiers, once in group stages they are all reset.

If Giroud has said he is 100% staying in private conversations, then could actually see us try for Dolberg, linked up very well last season with Klassen.

Think we'd see some massive clubs come in if we did move though so still wouldn't get him
