That's inflation for you. Prices have gone crazy in the past week.

Shouldn't have folded from the first offer mate. £90 million upfront was the absolute minimum we should have accepted and that's even before the Neymar deal happened and subsequent inflation your talking with add ons rising to £100+.

Dortmund want £130 million for Dembele
£109 million for Coutinho
£198 million for Neymar

We've been tucked up rotten for Lukaku, one of the best strikers in Europe and we sell for a pittance.
Oh really? I must have missed the transfer of Coutinho. I also must have missed where Dortmund got 130 million for Dembele.

I thought you could ask whatever crazy thing you wanted and no one had to pay it, I guess I was wrong and you were right.

Think we got the better of the deal tbh. We got plenty of cash and one if the biggest names in World Football. Man U were rinsed

£75 million + a finished Rooney on massive wages.

Just think we could have done better had we held out a bit longer.

It'll be £90m though not £75m. Think Koeman even said it was £90m.

Whilst it seems low compared to these dumb Coutinho numbers (which incidentally only went over £75m after Neymar). You have to also remember Pogba went for just shy of £90m and he's a miles better player than Lukaku.

I've just seen the extended highlights of the super cup game. Real Madrid have some players who I wouldn't mind seeing in an Everton shirt. The team they were playing (Man Utd ) looked a bit poop .

Blues 'tracking Smyth'
Everton are said to be one of a number of clubs tracking Linfield’s Paul Smyth.

The Belfast Telegraph report that several sides including Newcastle United, Sunderland, Sheffield United and Birmingham City are closely monitoring the 19-year-old’s progress.

The Northern Ireland under-21 winger scored eight goals in 15 games for Linfield last season in their tltle-winning campaign.
