Impossible to know really. We seem to be putting a lot of faith in "PL proven" and seem prepared to pay huge premiums to get it. So I suspect it will be someone like Benteke rather than a more interesting option. Really don't know who we could get, there are so few players outside of the mega clubs who would improve us.

Depends...I doubt we will go after Benteke just due to the fact that he will cost 40-50 million to get

Benteke would probably be the best that we could realistically get this late in the window, but I see us going abroad as Crystal Palace would price him out of our range.

Yes but honestly I wish he wasn't; if he is the one from Nice, RSCA already own a better one: Najar (he prefers playing RW; but can play RB). Only he is literally made out of glass. Hardly played the previous season. Ruptured his ligaments, done his hamstring etc. Every time he manages to stay fit for a while you instantly have interest from other teams like Arsenal (where he would join the others in the treatment room) etc. So the ideal solution would be a fit Najar, but since that's not happening he'll have to buy yet another RB while the money would be better spend on something else.

Surprising link. Seen quotes that teams like Spurs were after Ricardo for £20m+.

I remember Najar from a CL games a few years back. Thought they'd sold him since no noise anymore. Honduran?
