Of the current batch of players signed recently the club's involved had already accepted that the player we brought off them was destined to leave subject to the right offer.
Pickford & Keane was obvious due to the club's they played for, Sandro was always leaving for someone due to contract, Klaassen's valuation was met & left with not much fuss & Rooney was pushing for the move it seems from a club that was moving on with newer players.
Siggy is the one where we have gone in & just tried & tried & tried. I wouldn't call it bullying the other club but it walks that path. Big clubs who want the best players work this way. The attitude of the club to simply go after the man they want & win is a good sign for the future.

Costa would be great albeit for 6 months. Makes sense for Chelsea as he's away form their squad and does allow a real chance of us taking points of Chelsea's direct competitors at the top of the league.
