I agree with the Giroud thinking but there are rumours that Slimani is leaving & if Vardy left they would have no strike force at all. Vardy's price therefore goes up.
I wouldn't pay any more than £20m for him but that won't buy him so I say look elsewhere.

I'd pay 30m for him... we are in a situation where we NEED a striker... it's A necessity.. clubs know it and the level of striker we need means he is going to be valuable to the selling club as he's a first team player and they in turn, will need to overpay to replace him... still think 30m and Barry might force the move .

Barry has joined West Brom for £1m yesterday. I don't think Leicester would sell for £30m. Pains me to say it but Gabby Agbonlahor would do a job for £15-20m.

if the possibility arises to buy a top CB to partner keane i would get on that straight away.

not really sure if any of the names being mentioned at the moment are better than our current goal scoring options

Dendoncker can play LCB and DM. And some. He has Koemanesque passing range on him except with both feet. Get him in and a specialised LB cover, maybe the lad Tierney. Bring in Dolberg for up front and Zat will never need to spend another baht on Viagra

If we signed Dendoncker and Dolberg I can safely say I wont complain (as much) this season.
