I've been spouting his name on here for ages. He's a complete striker. Technical, surprisingly fast, tall and decent with his head. When he came back to Denmark from Germany the first time around he absolutely bossed the league. His number of goals in the Danish league would've also been remarkably higher if he had played as a striker, but back then he was still playing as a winger.

Didn't realise de Vrij only had 12 months left on his deal. Apparently expected to sign a new deal with a €25m release clause as he doesn't want to leave on a free next summer.

Would definitely put a bid in for him either way.

Would be a fantastic signing at that price. Knows Koeman too.

Would definitely put a bid in for him either way.

State of some of the defending there.

Some top class goals. I particularly like the ne where he mis-controls it into the back of the net. And the other where he tackled it into the top corner.

The over head kick attempt was worth the admission on its own.

Still not seeing what you all see in him. Big, brutish, but really devoid of skill and he just seems clumsy to me.

Hoedt still seems intriguing however.

His you tube highlight to me look awful, he looks completely limited, and super unathletic. Then I watched him the other day and honestly was surprised at how good he was. Still not saying he's good enough for Everton or even the EPL, but he was much better than his highlight reels. Was the focal part of their play, great at tracking back, good composure on the ball, and much better first touch than I thought. Just saying.
