Howedes or Kempf for left sided CB? Dendoncker would be great for another option in midfield. Dost/Slimani, etc? (not exactly inspiring). Worried we can fill our needs in the final 9 days or so.

I like that kid and think he does a decent job. Problem is he will always be the type of signing you get and then a season later you get relegated and he moves to the next club.

He looks OK. But 16.5 million now for an average midfield player is just crazy.

We must have players lined up but are dependent on outcomes of Europa and cl games this week otherwise we would be bidding

Either that or we have no idea who to go for and are clutching at straws or hoping one of the players who hasn't shown an interest changes their mind.

I'm hoping you're right. I've got no idea what the truth is though just a bit worrying we're not getting strong links with anyone that seems likely to happen with less than 2 weeks left.

I don't want to solve problem areas with 'okay players or 'He'll do'. Every signing we make from now on has to give some quality to the squad. I won't accept an average striker. And we should be looking at a CB partner for Keane not cover.
