King had 16 goals in the league last season for a worse team and is only 25. For the right price don't see anything wrong with him, Rooney and Sandro up front.

And a target man can roam, he can play into channels, he can play a more advanced position on the back line, wherever. Think that depends on the player. But that's about winning the ball, holding it, bringing others into play, and getting on the end of set pieces and finishing them. King is not that player.

No. Rewatch what DCL did against City. When he was our striker he pulled defenders usually Otamendi but Kompany a bit as well as far wide as possible for Rooney to exploit the space (i.e. our goal, DCL comes from wide to supply Rooney as the most advanced central player).

Then watch how Lukaku played for us (imperfect example I know as he always wanted the ball in behind). He stayed very central as does Llorente, Benteke ... etc. That's what I mean when I say target man but it's a undefinable term.
