Rudy Gestede anyone?
It shows how desperate we are. Instead of Benteke, Giroud and Dembele at the start of the window. People are now advocating we go for Smith at QPR, Gestede and the lad at Cardiff. I can't wait for tomorrow to come to an end if I'm honest.

The summer started out very good for transfers but quickly stalled with the pursuit of Siggy. Now we are scrambling for a player in the position we should have filled first, striker.

For me it's Dembele, regardless if he's out till September or not. Fast, natural ability and loads of potential.

Think I could deal with him being out till September too. It's only 27 more hours.

To be fair they are in champions league and agreeing to sign players like keita and chasing Lamar and signing salah (was decent last couple of years)

We are in deadline day struggling to replace the striker we had months notice and supposedly 75 million to help fund it.

Talk about being behind Liverpool? The only reason we have spent more than we have made is down to one big signing and selling the fella he is replacing will bring that back down again.

Just once I would love us to do better than them, play better, win more , sign more exciting players. They may sell their best player this window, maybe they don't, we sold our best player before the window even opened and ballsed up signing a striker for the second year in a row. Seriously, a year ago we signed enner Valencia as our striker having all summer to buy one and blamed poor negotiating on our part. Fast forward 12 months and it's not a striker we need on deadline day but the striker for the team.

Sorry for the ramble, unless we pull a decent couple of signings by tomorrow night then it's just another frustrating summer as a blue, which is amazing considering the good business we have done.

Just back to the point, it would be nice to have one over on them for once , just once.

Spot on, mate.
Echoes the feeling of many

If Evertonians are frustrated with this summer they are expecting too much imo. We've improved every position bar striker and were we ever going to after selling Rom? To me the only disappointment is not getting a big CF in but it could still happen.

As for the RS they aren't going to have too much of a net spend once Coutinho goes and Ox isn't very good

An embraer phenom 300 landed at John Lennon in the last 30 mins - departed from Glasgow. Just saying. Dem transfers are going to happen aren't they.

Not ITK
