I am talking about rumours of course but Walsh is going to have to up his game. It's pure fantasy to think that we will out spend the top 4 and therefore close the gap. It's not that simple.

We will now start to cross off all the players that were never coming that people are getting excited about,
Unfortunately all the top players want Champions league football first and foremost. We will have to wait till the more successful clubs have finished shopping and see what's left then battle it out with the clubs who are at a similar level to us. Our best hope for now is picking up the best up and coming talent which I think is what SW is targeting. We need to improve the squad but if we do spend big money on any players they have to be good enough to go straight into the first team and then the player(s) replaced become the back up/competition. I can see a frustrating Summer ahead. I'm sure Everton will do there best
