Well that's one reason I think he WOULD succeed. I'm not suddenly pretending to be a Spanish football expert, but it's easy to do a little research on players once linked. Jose's game is said to be about his strength and physicality and leading the line. Holding the ball up and bringing others in to play.

More than once I've read that he'd be ideally suited to our game. But as I say, the proof is in the pudding and we'll have to see IF he signs. Definitely think there's something there as Dominic King was certain negotiations were at an advanced stage a few weeks ago.

Personally like the look of Sandro but the jury's out on me for Jose don't think he looks anything special in all honesty. If we are after a big target man up top I would rather Dembele as a risk signing or Charlie Austin/Benteke who are proven finishers in the league.

An awful lot of people who watch a lot of Spanish football seem to disagree with you. He seems to be very highly rated in Spain.

IF he signs, then time will obviously tell how good he is.

I don't know much really apart from the odd little bits of Spanish footy usually after a few beers watching the game but he's looked half decent to be honest I'm just hoping a patronising Chelsea fan comes on here and tells me their opinion as I use that as my barometer.

Yes, Sandro looks ok but so did Soldado and he was terrible in EPL( could only score against us...Everton thatlol) Benteke is a good shout but would he leave Palace ? I read recently he's settled and happy in London
