Has this been confirmed. I've been glued to a number of computer screens updating transfer activity but I've seen nothing official. Stoke are making a big play for him apparently, as are Arsenal.
I'd be surprised if we get such a sought after player over the line.

It's a difficult environment to secure necessary talent; too much money chasing too limited a genuine talent pool.
We might be best to look toward youth/academy and grow/develop organically
