Phew! Glad we still won despite the send off. Knew we shouldn't have signed Thiago Silvia instead of giving Jags another 5 year extension. I blame Kenwright.

Just a polite reminder for the 'window isnt open yet, just relax' brigade.
I think the bernardo silva signing pretty much shows, if teams want to be pro active then they can go and get the players if they want.
There is no reason we can not go out and get pickford for example sorted now instead of lagging behind while other teams step in

Silva is quite literally the first signing of the summer which someone had to make and if it wasn't Everton people would turn up with this argument. The window isn't actually open for awhile yet and if we bring in multiple people by then we will have gotten ahead of things even though we didn't sign anyone before May 25

That deal had been in motion since City got dumped out the Champions League by Monaco. Didn't happen overnight.
 
If we want to start acting like a club with any sort of ambition we need to have deals in place like all the top teams do, then come 1st July it becomes official
