With just Romelu gone, we're getting 4 players that will strenghten our team in every position and we're left with 20mil something change.

I'm cool with that.

I get what your saying, but losing Rom and signing Sandro is weakening our front line, in my opinion, he might surprise me and bag 30 goals next season, but I see him more as a grower than a shower

Sandro will be a quality addition to our attack, but I see him more as competition for miralles and bolasie when fit. If he is being considered as a replacement for lukaku, then that is the time to worry.

Everyone talking about it reaching 30 million if he hits X amount of targets...

If he does, that's good then isn't it. Shows the lad has done well. Pickford that is.

Warming to this one.

Found this article on him from earlier in the season.

Key points from it:
Strengths:
Strong in body and mind, strikers have found it impossible to get past sarr, both on the ground and in the air.
Weaknesses:
Although he has been a relevation since making his debut, he is still only 17 games into his professional career.

Seems on the surface a great pickup, then again you'd probably have to pay a LOT for a bloke who is in all likelihood not ready to start in this league and i'd wager has zero chance of playing at centre back for at least two years given Holgate being 'eased in' at right back, can't see it myself, neither why we'd pay a hefty fee for him which it'd take or why the player would swap a likely starting spot at his preferred position in a decent league to a spot player at left back in this

IF we are moving into paying 10m+ for prospects it does signal a new era in regards transfers though

Happy with Sandro, Klassen, Pickford and Keane.

Obvious Rom is going so hopefully get a top class replacement for him.

Would love it if we can get ourselves that player who just takes us up another level, Coutinho type player.

A midget that goes missing most of their games?

stop flapping the lids

were not gonna sell our top goalscorer for 80+ mill, lose our backup striker back to his parent club, and lose or only other striker on a free and only sign 1 player for 6mill

gonna sign a 20mill+ striker us just keep the faith

I agree he'd be cover for left back. No way would we consider him at centre half at 5:10 even though he is meant to be strong in the air.

I was under the impression he was, he plays more as a central striker than out wide. He has the potential in the long term, but I doubt he could fill it on his own this season
