Doubt it personally ,doesn't look physically strong enough in the position he plays for the premier league.If has had such a good season why aren't CSKA snapping him up.They can't all be skint in Russia and Turkey can they?Its sell for me.

I agree with you he's not very good at tackling or the defensive side of the game. His job is to recycle possession, recive the ball in tight areas of the pitch take players out and move the ball on.

My issue with gomes isn't his defensive game it's his offensive. I want more from him going forward. More shots and key passes. Gana is there for the defensive side.

In all honesty I think gana is going to be sold and we'll go for someone like doucoure in my opinion. If we had gomes and doucoure in front of a dcm who just sits in front of the back 4 we would be a better team for me. That would mean dropping siggurson though and he's been to good to drop last season.

Not much to argue in that for me. Not sure I'd have Gomes ahead of Siggy in that scenario tho. Maybe.

This is a great post and I agree. I just think we are keeping Gana and Siggy, that's my bigger point. So I'm trying to plug in an ideal player to play with them. We need an all around CM AND a DM like Schneiderlin that is better and cheaper realistically.

Every game they played in the U20 world cup. He and Porozo the big CB were really good. Both apparently were best XI like Sosa in the S.A. U20 championship, too.
